A Valentine’s Market hosted by Catalyst Fine Art. Saturday And Sunday February, 8th & 9th from 10am – 5pm.

Join myself other artists and skilled crafts-persons for an exceptional market within the venerated halls of the St. Edwards Lodge in Kenmore WA. Discover a one-of-a-kind gifts from our diverse selection of over 25 local artisans at the market!

For Valentines Day this year I have created two new lines of themed glassware.

Let me first introduce to you to the limited edition Cherub Baby Head Cup. One part angel one part part Icarus, and one part cute as hell! I have been scheming on this one for a while now specifically as a counterpart to Lil’ Diavolo. I have yet to resolve a specific wing color for these little angles so currently I’m exploring opals and pink compositions on the initial runs.

The second is a contemporary take on the timeless tradition of the glass heart paperweight. I have made thousands of these things for other people in my career as a glass-worker. What makes my hearts stand apart is the silver foil decal emblazoned on the face of each heart. Just like the classic heart candies that have a cute saying on the face, my hearts feature an inspirational clip art image sourced from my off-color collection of silver decal cut outs.

Also join us during the market on Sunday for a special artist demonstration by Robert Bank Glass! Watch him create stunning glass art in real-time while learning about his process and inspiration.

You know it, and you love! The Punk Rock Flea Market says “so long” to summer from our beautiful new headquarters on the top of Seattle’s Capitol Hill, with our potent mix of bargains, bands, and booze!!

For three long days September 20-22 hundreds of vendors from up and down the Puget Sound sell their BEST STUFF in a ROUGH but READY former grocery store in Seattle’s most colorful neighborhood. The Quality Flea Center on 15^th Ave. has already become a beacon of culture, craft and weirdness. And we’re proud to welcome nearly 200 vendors over 72 hours to watch the season change from summer to autumn and sell you the sweaters, mittens, moon boots, records, stickers, pot brownies, roller skates, hair creme, gemstones, ceramics, bondage collars, and robot dogs YOU NEED!

But wait! There’s more! Our painfully attractive bartenders will gladly pour you something strong, the best DJ’s in the PNW will cute your headache with sonic waves, and carefully curated food trucks are already warming up the tasty treats you need to keep your energy at peak levels.

As always, the PRFM supports our friends the Low Income Housing Institute, aka. LIHI, with a donation from our proceeds. LIHI is a non-profit organization that provides homes for homeless and low-income people all around the Puget Sound, and is currently leading the effort to build tiny self –contained houses for homeless people and families around our region. I will have some brand new items at this years Hilltop Street Fair!

9th Annual Hilltop Street Fair – Saturday August 24th 11am – 7pm free all ages

The Hilltop Business Association presents Tacoma’s most prominent community event, The Hilltop Street Fair! This year, the fair returns on Saturday, August 24th, from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

In its ninth year, the Hilltop Street Fair celebrates summer with food trucks, beer gardens, vendor booths, live entertainment stages, activities for kids, and much more!

The Car Show will also return this year, and for the first time, the fair will feature a local Swap Meet currated by Por Vida NW, a 1on1 Basketball Tournament hosted by Gametime, and a Free Outdoor Movie in People’s Park presented by The Grand Cinema, where they will show Puss in Boots: The Last Wish.

The Hilltop Street Fair centers around the business district on 11th St and Martin Luther King Jr. Way, and People’s Park. Fairgoers can find ice cream, espresso, bakery items, chocolate confections, pubs, ethnic restaurants, and specialty stores open for business throughout the Hilltop Business corridor.

I’ll have new creations for you on Saturday.

The Baby Head Cup Mechanism T-Shirt.

For this project I selected artist Ian Wheelock to realize this image. I appreciated his skillful quirky style of illustration along with his love for technical robotic drawings. The first concept was completed in 2023 however it took another year to refine it into the image you see here. It was important for me to have all of the text in Kanji Japanese to lend it a sense authenticity. The Mechanism T-Shirt available in all sizes!

Rainbow Baby Head Cups!

Big Bold Colors make this unique Rainbow Baby Head Cup pop! Six transparent colors are combined into a veil featuring the traditional rainbow spectrum. This unique and time consuming process yields amazing results. Each run is produced from a larger “base tube” that is sectioned off into individual “starts”. This Venetian technique is a way to produce a design that is consistent throughout a number of pieces. Find me on 11th and L St at the Hilltop Street fair.
